BBQ Chicken Breasts





Barbeque chicken breasts are a tasty and simple dish that can be prepared in the oven or on the barbecue. The first step in making BBQ chicken breasts is to marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes in your preferred BBQ sauce.


Ingredients


        4-6                 -      BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREAST
        1 TBSP             -      CHOPPED PARSLEY, TO GARNISH
        1 1/2 CUPS      -      SWEET & HEAT BBQ SAUCE
        SALT AND PEPPER, TO TASTE
        

 

Steps


  1. Chicken breasts should be marinated overnight in a Ziploc bag with 1 cup of Traeger Sweet & Hot BBQ sauce.
  2. When prepared to cook, Set the grill's temperature to 450 degrees F (500 degrees if it has WiFIRE support) and let it heat up with the lid closed for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Chicken should be taken out of the marinade and salt and peppered.
  4. Directly on the grill grate, cook for 10 minutes on each side, flipping once, or until internal temperature is reached.
  5. Put immediately on the grill grate and cook, flipping once or for 10 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 150 degrees.
  6. Cook the chicken for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, while brushing it with the leftover sauce    while it is still on the grill.
  7. Take off the grill, then give it five minutes to rest before serving. Add a bit of parsley, chopped. Enjoy!

  • Cheese: Consider stuffing the chicken breasts with your preferred type of cheese, such as feta, mozzarella, or cheddar. A gooey, delicious center will form as the cheese melts.

  • Feta and Spinach: For a delectable filling, combine some finely chopped spinach with crumbled feta cheese. With Barbecued chicken, this mixture works especially well.

  • Jalapeno and Bacon: Combine diced jalapenos and finely chopped jalapenos for a Smokey and hot stuffing. The chicken gets a wonderful crunch and a little spice from this.

  • Mushroom and Herb: In a small amount of butter, sauté some sliced mushrooms and herbs like thyme and rosemary until tender. With its pleasing texture contrast, this earthy filling complements BBQ chicken wonderfully.
